How long can you go without paying an Xfinity mobile bill? ›

Stay up to date

If you don't make a payment within four days, the plan will be canceled and your service will be interrupted.

You can schedule a payment for a future date in My Account, at xfinity.com/myaccount or through the My Account app. If you would like to change your bill due date to a different date in the month going forward, you can also do that in My Account.

Pay your Xfinity bill anytime, on any device

Check out your account online, download the Xfinity app, or say “my Account” or “Pay my bill” into your Voice Remote. You can mail us a check using the information on your bill, or visit a Western Union® Quick Collect® location to pay with cash or money order.

Depending on the circ*mstances, your service could be interrupted or disconnected due to late payment or missing payments. If this happens, you will need to make a payment to re-activate your services. This payment may include late fees and a reactivation charge, and it will take 48–72 hours to restore your services.

Your Xfinity payment is due by the date noted at the top of your bill. If you haven't made payment by this due date, we'll send you a late payment notification, and you may also be charged a late fee on your next bill. We know that sometimes life events can prevent you from making your payment on time.

As mentioned earlier, a cable or other utility bill will generally not be reported at all unless it is seriously delinquent and in collections. That usually happens around the 90-day mark after a missed payment. Before that, the consumer is likely to be hit with late fees and ultimately a suspension of service.

If you need more time to pay your past due balance and are eligible for our flexible payment options: Sign in to your Xfinity account. Click Chat for options to start chatting with Xfinity Assistant. Select Set up a payment arrangement in your chat.

Visit the Seasonal Convenience Plan homepage and click ENROLLING IS EASY. Sign in using your Xfinity username and password. Select your seasonal hold duration by filling in the Enter Start Date and Enter End Date fields, then click CONTINUE. We recommend setting your End Date 24 hours prior to returning home.

Missed or late payments

Paying off a past-due balance doesn't have to be overwhelming — we offer repayment plans to our eligible customers. We also offer automatic payment deferrals. If you're eligible, this flexibility allows you to: Manage payments more easily.

To proceed with setting up an installment plan, select Installment plan. If you're ready to move forward with making a $50 payment and setting up an installment plan, select I'd like to sign up, then Sign up. On the Installment plan page, select the minimum payment due, or enter a larger amount if you'd like.

Manage or cancel a scheduled payment

Select Edit payment from the pop up. Choose Manage or Cancel Payment. Manage allows you to change the amount, date, or payment method of a scheduled payment. Cancel Payment allows you to cancel a scheduled payment entirely.

Change your monthly bill due date online

On the Billing page, scroll down to Bill Settings. Then, click Bill Due Date. Choose the new date by clicking the drop-down menu next to New bill due date.

Note the following approximate amounts of time it will take for Xfinity services to be restored after a payment is made: Xfinity TV and Xfinity Internet services take approximately one hour to restore. Xfinity Voice service takes approximately four hours to restore.

A fee of $25.00 is applied to accounts when a payment is returned by the issuer (either due to insufficient funds, incorrect routing information, or an expired card), and this fee would appear on your statement and in our billing ledger in the same area where late or disconnect fees would show.

Some utility providers will terminate service as early as one week after the bill's due date and require a hefty amount of money to restore these services. Other companies, like phone providers, may shut off service anywhere between 45 to 60 days after the bill is due.

Disconnect. If your balance remains outstanding, your service will be canceled, and you will lose your Xfinity Mobile phone number.

Important information for Xfinity Mobile customers: You have 14 days from the shipping or retail purchase date to cancel Xfinity Mobile service, return device(s) and receive a refund.

If you miss your phone bill payment by the due date, your provider is likely to charge you a late payment fee. This fee can vary depending on the provider and the terms of your contract.
